STORY TEASER: The Unfortunate tale of Alexa Valentine

It wasn't me.
Sure, I've got a temper on me - but what teenager doesn't?
If my mother was still around she'd believe me, and I wouldn't be getting continuously taken to the police station for further questioning. The chief of the police says that I am the 'victim' and that everyone believes that it wasn't my doing. But I can see the doubt in their eyes - they think I don't realize when mothers scurry away with their children when they see me coming down the street, they think I don't see when they cross to the other side of the road.
Six of us went in to the woods...I was the only one that returned.
I refuse to speak of what went down there - I'm lucky to have escaped, maybe that's why people doubt me when I tell them it wasn't me. Why would I harm my closest friends, my cousin and my little sister? I don't want to live through the trauma again - I can hardly deal with waking up in the middle of the night screaming from the nightmares - so I can't speak of the events...of what we saw...more people could be hurt...taken...
This is the story of when I lost the people I cared about the most, the story of how I narrowly escaped, the story of how my life was turned to ruins and this is the story of how I came back a different girl...a shell of myself...
Hoped you liked the teaser - Full story coming soon!
