51 days 'till Christmas! Time to celebrate?

Christmas is just around the corner. Now is the time that the shopping centres are bustling with people trying to find the best presents for their families and friends.

But when is it okay to start listening to Christmas songs? And when is it okay to decorate the tree?

I've met people who have said that they do all the above a couple weeks before the big day.

In my opinion, Christmas is a HUGE deal! You have to meticulously plan your decoration arrangements, the food you'll consume and you're plans for boxing day (because Christmas is not just a day...it should last for a good few days!). AND to get you in the mood for all the festivities you HAVE to listen to all the classic Christmas songs!

I'm sorry but Christmas is something that you can't just 'wing' - planning is everything.

Like, for example, when it turned to the 1st of November me and my girl - Kels (bravely) decided that we should take a stand against all of the Scrooges in the world and listen to Christmas songs for the first time this year.

Maybe this is the reason as to why i'm writing this entry, because i'm truly excited for Christmas...but give it a week and i'll be stressing about buying Christmas gifts for a LOT of people.

When this does happen and I forget that the season is meant to be jolly, to cheer myself up again guess what I do...I blast a little bit of Bob Geldof - Do they know it's Christmas. Then i'm happy yet again.

So, when do YOU think it's acceptable to decorate your house or listen to Christmas songs?
